After a long journey trying to figure out what is going on with Audrey's hearing we are hoping to be closer, if not at the end. We decided to go ahead with the adenoidectomy. The surgery took place this morning. She was super brave, willing to put on the "silly hat and dress",

and ready to try on the special mask that she got to wear, not like the paper masks Doctor's wear.

Off she went with a princess wave, as she said goodbye to us.
I held her in the recovery room as she slept, and stayed for a little while until we were allowed to go home.

Thankfully, the surgery went off without a hitch. She came out quickly, and has been a strong girl all day. Although out of it at first, she progressively got better and seems to be almost back to herself.
We couldn't be more proud of our little girl.

I am glad to hear her surgery went well! Tell Audrey we are also proud of her for her bravery. Were you and Al brave as well? I can't imagine how hard it must have been on you guys while she was in surgery.
