Audrey is the talker in this house. She's 3 3/4 and she has much to say.
Audrey: We can not fly.
Me: Nope
Audrey: But if we wore balloon clothes we could.

Audrey: Do you know penguins are birds, but they don't fly.
Me: Right!
Audrey: Someday, I'll let you hold one, but you have to be careful because it could peck you.
(it's a good thing she lets me know these things)

While blueberry picking...
Audrey: Daddy, pick only the blue ones, not the green or the white ones.
Daddy: Ok, I'll only pick the green ones and the white ones.
Audrey: No, Daddy, only pick the blue ones, NOT the green and white ones.
Daddy: Right, only pick the white ones.
Audrey: No, Daddy, stop saying that!
Audrey: If you say that again you will have to go to work forever.

Audrey: Mommy, I want to stay at Grammy's house for 100 days.
Me: Wow, that's a long time.
Audrey: Yeah, it's forever!

My hubs loves to pick on the kids like that, too... drives 'em nuts! :)
You've got one smart cookie on your hands there with Audrey! :)
What wonderful conversations. I want some baloon clothes so I can fly too! Allison also says "100 days" all the time! I didn't realize their b-days were so close.
Ballon clothing...LOL! She can make it rich!
I love three year olds (at times...) This year has flown, huh? Soon it is the big 4!
So fun! I esp. like the balloon clothing idea. :) Maybe she is on to something.
A child's concept of time never ceases to amaze me. Of course, sometimes 100 days can feel like forever. :)
Thanks for the laugh!
We need to do some scrapbooking sometime and chat about our upcoming trip.
