Tiny Talk Tuesday

Audrey is 5, and Liam is 2. They keep me laughing daily.

During the intermission of Annie...
Audrey: I want to live in an orphanage!
Me: But that would mean living with out mommy and daddy.
Me: Annie didn't have a coat or a warm blanket to keep her warm.
Audrey: I don't want to live in that kind of orphanage, I want to live in a nice one!
(I think she truly wanted pillow fights and lots of girls to sing with)

(after Liam unrolls about 12 feet of TP from the roll)
Audrey: that's terrible!
Daddy: you used to do the same thing when you were his age.
Audrey: that's not possible!
Daddy: Its not?
Audrey: No, I never thought that such a good kid would have done such
a thing!

Audrey: ..and what was the tooth thing?
Me: The tooth thing?
Audrey: Yeah, the first and then the twoth.

Audrey: I love you, Mommy.
Liam: I wub ew, Mommy.
Liam: I wub ew, Daddy.
Liam: I wub ew, Audwee.
Liam: I wub ew, baby.

Liam: AUDWEE...STOP!!!
as I enter the room...
Liam: I wub ew, Audwee.
(he's had to practice using kind words...often)
