Three Year Well Visit

Yep, this is my silly three year old. She's full of life and passion. I love her spunkiness, even if it drives me crazy sometimes. She had her three year well visit yesterday. She's doing very well, although she has these "Enormous" (that would be the quote from the doctor...yikes!) tonsils. I knew prior to the appointment they were large, but didn't know what 'normal' looked like to compare. We're thankful she is not suffering, but we believe with further help from an ENT we can hopefully correct this, and dare I say even help her speech. Does the child need any help with her speech? I think Tiny Talk Tuesday literally 'speaks' for itself. We are thankful, other than the enlarged tonsils Audrey is doing very well. She was asked if she could count to 5 then proceeded to count to 30, I was so proud of her! She did tell the Doctor not to shine the flashlight in her eyes, while she was doing the eye test. I guess we've drilled that rule in quite a bit.

I need to add a more recent picture of my little man. I can't tell if he's changing all that much in just three weeks, but he is really cute. The shirt says "Automatic Sprinkler". It's true, although getting better. Albert and I have each had our fair share of "squirts" as we learn the best way to change a boy's diaper. I think armed with nursing pads, burp cloths, and an extra diaper we're good.

this may be too much information, but i've heard if you let some air hit a boys, well you know what, and give yourself a few seconds, you will be safee. just open the diaper slightly, and allow some air to hit him and if he's going to pee, he will do it immediately and then you are safe after that. i don't know, that's what i've been told.

glad audrey is doing so well.
