Audrey is the talker in this house. She's FOUR and has much to say.
after losing a shoe on the beach (yeah, not sure how that happened)
Audrey: Don't worry about it Mommy, you can get one that's purple and has glitter on it.
later....
Audrey: No, don't worry about your shoe Mommy, God has given you more at home.
(and I was thinking this was a great opportunity to BUY another pair, but she's so right)

We were walking on the beach to the carnival rides....they were VERY far away.
Me: Audrey I think we should turn back now, we've walked a long way, and we have to get back.
Audrey: It's ok, Mommy, it's just a little further, you can make it.
(we walked a total of 15,000 steps on my pedometer on that ONE walk, the girl didn't complain once and I didn't have a stroller! Of course, we made it to the rides.)

Daddy: Honey, I'm not going to be able to make it to your first gymnastics.
Audrey: It's ok, Daddy, but I'll miss you when I'm in China.
