Audrey is the talker in this house, from the time she wakes up to the time she goes down. She's 3, and has much to say.
Audrey is into making presents for the characters of Little Einstein...
Audrey: I want to make a card for Quincy.
Me: How about if you make a card for real people, like Daddy.
Audrey: Quincy's not real?
(she was so sad, I crushed her world in one single blow)
Later...
Audrey: Mommy, is Rocket real?
(and all this time I thought we were avoiding this by not doing Santa)

Miss Kara (a friend of mine): Audrey, what chores do you like to do? Do you like to help Mommy do laundry, empty the dish washer...?
Audrey: I like to find ladybugs.
(okay...I guess I was unaware that was added to the chore chart) ___________________________________________________
Audrey and I were running to the park together.
Audrey: Can we walk, my belly is hurting.
Me: Do you need to catch your breath?
Audrey: Yeah, let's run again.
2 minutes later...
Audrey: Mommy, we need to slow down so that I can find my breath.

Audrey: Do you know who the Steeler's are?
Me: Yep, they are Daddy's favorite football team.
Audrey: Someday I'LL be a football team.

Audrey is REALLY into volcanoes. She has been spending time at home and with her Grammy learning about volcanoes.
Our dog, Bandit, was born in Hawaii, which she has also learned about in her research about volcanoes.
Audrey: Bandit was made from obsidian in Hawaii.
Me: uh-huh. (translation: uh...um...what is obsidian? Thanks to Grammy she learns all kinds of new words.)

Audrey: Mommy, are you going to have 4 babies?
Me: Would you like me to have 4 babies?
Audrey: No, just me and Liam, and you're DONE!
(I guess the boss has spoken!)

Oh, you're lucky that the oldest wants you to be "done". My 5 year old is asking for another baby and he's got two younger brothers. We're done though... three is a-plenty! :)
BTW, I love the pictures of your kids - they are adorable!
Too cute!
Blessings,
Angela
You have to take Audrey to Disney's Hollywood Studios so she can meet the Little Einsteins - they are real, we saw them a couple weeks ago! And I like how she tells you that 2 kids is enough. Very cute!
What a funny talker you have! :) She is so beautiful, too. My youngest was likely born pretty close to Liam (Sept. 15). My 4 older kids are already telling me we need another baby b/c Kai is growing too big, lol! (Daddy has hopefully permanently taken care of this likelihood, though.)
Nice to meet you here on the blogosphere...
i still laugh thinking about audrey's response to me last week, when i asked her about her favorite chore to help you with. "finding ladybugs", of course, why didn't i think of that?
