Once again the month went by too quickly. Liam cut his first tooth this month, and is working on getting the second one in any day. Despite his discomfort with teeth, he continues to be a pleasant boy, smiling all the time. With the teething process, we have gone back to waking once or twice a night, but I'm hopeful this is only temporary.
It's hard to believe how much little children grow in just a matter of months. We look back at pictures just 6 weeks ago and realize he's grown so much.
Audrey is learning to help me take care of Liam without needing to ask me. She enjoys making him smile and laugh. On a number of occasions she has given Liam his pacifier when he's fussy in the car. She loves to find toys that he can play with, now that he's able to hold them. This has been a wonderful advantage for me, and for her, as she feels included and loves to help. She will often say, "I always love Liam".
We're having so much fun watching you grow, Liam. You are so content sitting in your bouncy seat, laying on your activity mat, or having someone talk with you. You have provided such a balance in this house, and we're so grateful for you.
I love you, little buddy.

i must say, he is a happy little fellow. i enjoyed all his grins & giggles the other morning and he almost made me anxious for another little one. hee hee. ALMOST!
