Farm Fun

This week is the PA State Farm Show....so fun!! Last year we went at the end of the week, but this year I wanted to hit it early to see everything, before people were packing up and tearing things down. We saw goats, pigs, rabbits, alpacas, peacocks, baby ducklings sliding down mini water slides, 900 lbs of sculpted butter (if you sculpt it, they will come...so why not?), lots and lots of perfectly groomed cows, climbed on tractors
, ate yummy funnel cake and pork barbecue, and finally we were able to watch the dog demonstration (my favorite part). By the end of the evening the crowds were dying down, and we were able to go visit the goats and cows again, which allowed Audrey a chance to be inside the pen with 2 pregnant goats and 3 one month old kids. She was very obedient about keeping her distance from the grumpy pregnant goats, guess she learned her lesson from her own Mommy!
It was a lot of walking, lots of fighting crowds, and very dusty, but SO fun! I love doing this with Audrey, seeing everything through her eyes.
