Audrey is the talker in this house, from the time she wakes up to the time she goes down. She's 3, and has much to say.
Audrey is allowed off her bed at 7am...
Audrey: (yelling down the stairs) there's an 8 on my clock!
Me: It's ok, you can come down.
Audrey: But 8 is better than 7.
(hmmm...could I get another hour in the morning??)

Audrey: I need to eat my breakfast so that I feel better. I have a bad back.
Me: Laughing, laughing, laughing (our THREE year old has a bad back??)
Audrey: But...Daddy has a bad back!
Me: Laughing some more
Audrey: Mommy! Stopping laughing like that!

Me: You can't get me, I'm the gingerbread man. Audrey: You can get me, you can, I'm not the gingerbread man. _________________________________________________
While making up a character "Door-Door" (a rock with a mouth)
Audrey: Mommy, would you like to go see Door-Door? He eats people!
Me: No, what if he wants to eat me!
Audrey: He doesn't eat people, just YOU!
(so, should I be offended that he would only eat me, or should I be offended that she doesn't think I'm a person??)

ok, your little one keeps me laughing! I liked the bad back part. It's sweet that she wanted to be like Daddy.
A bad back...I'd laugh, too! I have a 3yo who seems to have his parents aches & pains, too - often goes to get an ice pack for his headache! (That's what I do when I have a migraine.)
Your children are precious!
